old-windsor-project

Old Windsor, Berkshire

Single storey rear extension to provide added kitchen and living space. We suggested bi-folding doors to open the house up to the garden. The doors are argon-filled low-emissivity glazing to minimise heat loss/heat gain, and the garden is watered in summer by rainwater collected from the roof.

finchhampstead-project

Finchampstead, Berkshire

New two storey extension including alterations to the existing house to nearly double its original size. This project had a complicated planning history that required a sensitive approach to get planning approval.

hurley-project

Hurley, Berkshire

Two storey extension in a traditional architectural style. This project was greenbelt, within a conservation area, adjacent to an important listed building and on a floodplain! The design was heavily influenced by all these factors from initial concept development and required regular dialogue with the local authority.

henley-project

Henley, Oxfordshire

Single storey extension to a listed building in a conservation area. The client had a very specific brief for a ‘glass-box’ style conservatory/extension to make the most of limited garden space. Fortunately the local authority appreciated the juxtaposition of the modern design to the historic built fabric.

wargrave-project

Wargrave, Berkshire

Alteration of an existing extension including new roof light. The brief was to transform the extension housing an indoor swimming pool into a family room with better access to the garden.
